Snowhome is a design store in central York that remains as curious about the good things in the world around us as it has been since it first opened its doors in 2001. In a digital age we are fascinated that so many people are (like us) drawn to the calm simplicity of pen and paper - whether working from home (if only partially), capturing precious thoughts and memories in a wonderful variety of paper journal formats, letter writing or simply gifting a paper greetings card.
So welcome to the desk of your dreams and the home environment it sits in. Husband and wife team Matt and Helen own and run snowhome, an independent lifestyle concept store, sharing our take on enduring and joyful design for life from a bricks-and-mortar home on the high street in central York.

It seems really unseasonal to talk Christmas before the leaves have even fully fallen from the trees. But we understand from last years feedback that many of you like a longer, more considered run at the festive buying season. So, as an opener, the Lovi Elves will be returning to our shelves and if you'd like one (or more) we are now taking our first pre-orders of winter 2026.
