Ginettaccio - Gino Bartali
Three miniature cyclist figures painted to celebrate the career of "Ginettaccio" - Gino Bartali, the iconic Italian road cyclist whose impressive achievements (interrupted by the second world war) have a sense of the mythic around them. His rivalry with fellow Italian Fausto Coppi was famous; he remains the TdF winner with the longest gap in time between victories, the second of which in 1948 some claim prevented civil war and revolution in Italy; and after his death he was awarded Righteous Among Nations by the state of Israel for his work helping Jewish people in Italy during the war.
Responsibly Made in the EU from die-cast base metal.
Each figure 55mm tall.
Presented in a plastic display box.
