Magpie x Hornsea Moneybox - Grinning Cat in Orange.

As long term fans of Hornsea Pottery, contemporary British brand Magpie have started to reissue and make Hornsea ware again, fully licensed by the original makers.  Hornsea is a remarkable British design story involving some of the icons of British pattern and ceramic design and remains much loved and is still highly influential.

Magpie have redrawn this super cute design from an original c1967 artwork archived in the Hornsea Museum and created new ceramic moulds to make a range of moneyboxes, glazing them using authentic Hornsea colours of the period.

This moneybox is made from Stoneware and hand glazed so each one is unique.
